Job Title: HEAD START EDUCATION MANAGER
1 position in Gogebic County (Ironwood, MI)
Non-Exempt, Employee-at-will. 40 hours per week; 43 wks./year
Salary to commensurate with education/experience.
Assume responsibility for the implementation of high-quality educational services to support the development of school readiness skills. Monitor curriculum implementation, data entry, classroom environments, staff-child interactions, and support screening, assessment and transition activities. Employee will also be required to work in the Head Start classrooms, as needed. Administration and maintenance of relevant electronic databases, as well as data entry, analyzation and reporting. Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to promote early childhood education opportunities. This position will include monthly travel to the Ontonagon Area School. Qualifications include a Baccalaureate or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, or a Baccalaureate or advanced degree and equivalent coursework in Early Childhood Education with 480 hours of early education teaching experience, as well as a minimum of 3 years in a management, leadership or supervisory role. Job Title: MHP YARD WORKERS: (Gogebic and Ontonagon Counties)
Non-Exempt, Employee at will.
12-20 Hours per week, varies depending on work.
Starting wage $14.08 per hour, plus mileage ($0.725/mile)
Under the supervision of the Outreach and Grants Specialist, the Yard Worker will provide services intended to assist the household with yard work and small projects to maintain the yard. Duties include: lawn mowing/raking, cleaning up yard debris, trimming overhanging tree branches, and removing rubbish, dead branches, etc. Must have a dependable vehicle that can carry needed equipment and must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Applicant must have strong interpersonal skills, be a team player, be able to understand and follow directions with minimal supervision, be physically capable of performing tasks and able to lift up to 50 lbs., and be willing to perform tasks regardless of perceived degree of importance. Must also have organizational skills, the ability to read, and basic mechanical skills. Education: High-school graduate or equivalent; minimum 18 years of age. Job Title: Kitchen Aide ( 1 position Bessemer, MI)

Work 3-4 hours per day (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) Monday thru Thursday.
The Kitchen Aide will perform a variety of skilled tasks. Must be neat, organized, resourceful and innovative, detail oriented, a team player and capable of independent work. Operates the dishwashing machine and assists in kitchen cleanup. Will assist in food preparation as assigned by cook. Assembles cold food and assists in the dining room. Some kitchen experience is desirable. Ability to lift up to ten pounds. High school graduate or equivalent. Background check is required.

Job Title: SUB Site Manager ( 1 position Ewen, MI)
Non-Exempt, Employee-at-will. Starting wage $14.08/hr.
Work 3.5 to 4 hours per day, (10:00-1:30) Tuesday and Thursday
The Site Manager will manage the senior nutrition site, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policies. Must be neat, organized, resourceful and innovative, detail oriented, a team player and capable of independent work. Will directly supervise dining room staff and coordinate with head cook/central kitchen and kitchen staff. Takes meal reservations, counts donation money and maintain records and submit reports. Assigns and trains volunteers in food servicing and cleanup. Supervises home delivered meal driver and home delivered meal route. Completes assessments for home delivered meal clients; additional time may be needed for completion. Must be willing to learn Federal rules and regulations. Background check is required. High school graduate or equivalent, 18 years of age minimum.
