Good news!!!!  Gogebic-Ontonagon Community Action Agency has applied for a grant through the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program and we have been chosen as a finalist.  The name of our grant is “A Head Start Playground”.  Four thousand entries were submitted and State Farm chose 200 of those.   Only five of those entries chosen are in the State of Michigan. 

 The next step is a public voting forum.  Any citizen of the United States, 18 years of age or older with a valid email address is eligible to vote.  Each individual can vote up to ten times per day.   Only 100 of the grant finalists will receive a grant of $25,000 with the top vote getter receiving $50,000.
